Rainforest Alliance – Five Films, Zero F*s
2025

“I’m here because of f***ing deforestation.” Not your average NGO film opener — but the Rainforest Alliance was never built to play nice. Founded in 1987 with the plan to save the rainforest and shut down, they’re still here 35 years later because farming drives 90% of tropical deforestation — and the frog is more relevant than ever.

We built them a suite of films: one bold brand story and four punchy product spots (coffee, tea, cocoa, bananas). No sad pianos. No guilt-trip gorillas. Just humour, contradiction, and punk energy.

Visually, the films smash together archive footage, pop culture, and bold text, all carried by a wry narrator — Mother Nature’s funny best friend. A soundtrack of New York punk meets tropical rhythms, with founder Daniel Katz dropping raw honesty at the core. Each spot carries the same irreverent DNA — proving a banana, a bar of chocolate, or your morning coffee can feel like an act of rebellion.
